Reflexology is a relaxing,
complementary therapy which works on the feet or hands to help restore the body's natural energy balance.
It
was practised in ancient Chinese, Asian and Egyptian cultures and is based on the concept that every part of the body is mirrored
by a specific point on the foot.
Reflexologists are trained to feel tiny deposits and imbalances in the
feet, and through the application of gentle massage to these points can release blocked energy and tension.
Over
the past ten years reflexology has gained increasing popularity and recognition in the West as it is non-invasive, drug-free
and encourages the body to work naturally to restore its own healthy balance.

A Treatment
A treatment usually
lasts for about 50 minutes. It is extremely relaxing, pain free and involves lying on a special couch having
your feet massaged in a specific way. Many people feel a sense of well-being and relaxation immediately after the first
treatment.
